What is the school council?
The school council is a group of
students who try to improve the school grounds using pupils' comments.
Only the students from Key Stage 2 (Year 3 - Year 6) are in the school
council. Key Stage 1 have their own representatives in each class so,
when it is nearly time to have a meeting, anybody in Mallard or Moorhen
can talk to their representative about any ideas they have. When it
is time for the meeting, the representative can tell everybody about
the idea.
Other people like to use the suggestion
box. This is where you have an idea, write it down on a piece of paper
and put it into the suggestion box. At the meeting, the chairperson
takes all of the suggestions out of the box and reads them to the rest
of the council.
